About Us - Our Dentists

Maycroft Dental Care Centre is an established five surgery practice, with an excellent reputation, and has been on its present site for many years. The Practice is currently owned and run by Richard and Jennifer Browne. They are complemented by a team consisting of other dentists, hygienists, receptionists and dental nurses. Richard & Jennifer both trained at Guys Hospital, London where they met and married.

Richard

In 1980 Richard gained an Honours Degree in his professional qualifying examination. He subsequently worked within the hospital system for some years in Oral Surgery and obtained his postgraduate examination Dental Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, London, specialising in general restorative dentistry. He joined Maycroft in 1984 and became a partner the following year.

Jennifer

Jennifer following qualification in 1980 accepted a hospital post before moving into the field of general practice. She worked in several practices gaining experience in many spheres of dentistry before joining the Maycroft team in February 1999. She particularly enjoys treating younger people and with her experience as a mother, is particularly good with children.

Quincy

Quincy joined the practice in January 2008 having qualified in Sweden in 2002. He has been working in the UK since 2003 developing his many skills working in dental practices in Norwich and Bishops Stortford. He describes himself as ‘an experienced dentist with a friendly, caring and positive approach to patients and fellow staff members’. All those who have seen him have been delighted with his gentle manner and quality received.

He works from one of the downstairs surgeries which allows for easy access to the dental chair for those who find stairs difficult.

Faith

Faith is a registered Dental Surgeon with many years experience. She has worked in the Community Dental Service and in both the NHS and in private practice having a special interest in minor oral surgery, orthodontics and children's dentistry.

In 1996 she became interested in medical beauty treatments and trained in diathermy, sclerotherapy and skin fillers initially - adding skin peels and anti-ageing injections in 1999. She has attended advanced courses and continues to update her knowledge and training with internationally acclaimed trainers from the UK, USA, Canada, Switzerland and Brazil.
